Prepare for the Weather

Students who attend Slippery Rock University know that nice weather is perhaps the some of the best news that can be given around here. Slippery Rock has a short period of nice weather in the beginning of fall semester and at the end of spring semester. Around the time where those two meet, Slippery Rock turns from a nice college town into a city-sized wind tunnel. What I mean by this is it literally gets so windy that you almost blow over and the wind chill from this feels as though icicles are being formed on your face. So as a warning now, because after Thanksgiving will be too late, but prepare yourself for the cold, windy days of Slippery Rock Investing in a scarf and gloves can be a simple start!

  1. Great post! The weather here can be a bit frustrating and somewhat annoying. One minute it could be nice and sunny with little to no wind and 2 hours later it'll be as if you traveled to another state and its windy, gloomy, and cold. It doesn't make it any better that some of the classroom temperatures match the weather outside. By this I mean that if its chilly or cold outside its most likely chilly in class and same goes for if its hot outside. Good tip on the scarf and gloves; I've already planned ahead by bringing most of my winter attire when the semester started lol.
